Gretchen Meyer

Founder / Executive Director

Gretchen is the founder and president of Love Lazorchak, a non-profit created in honor of her stepdad, Patrick Lazorchak. After a lifelong struggle with mental health, she was driven to create a space that fosters connection and healing for others facing similar challenges. A dedicated athlete and mental health advocate, she channels her experiences into meaningful action. Gretchen plans on attending law school next year, continuing her mission to make lasting change through advocacy, education, and the law.

James Juliano

Board Chair

James Juliano (he/him) of Chicago, Illinois, met Patrick Lazorchak when they were college students at the University of Connecticut, and was proud to call him a "best friend" for more than three decades. Over those years, many happy memories were created with Patrick and his beloved family. Currently, James works at a boutique firm, he co-founded, called SHOUT Marketing & Media Relations which promotes the arts, entertainment, and leisure activities and events in the Midwest.

Rebecca McIIhenny

Secretary

Rebecca graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health counseling from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022. Since then, she has worked in a research lab through the University of Pittsburgh’s Medical Center studying youth and young adults who are at risk of developing psychosis. Rebecca is passionate about promoting positive change in the mental health field and is thrilled to demonstrate this advocacy in her role with Love Lazorchak.

Carola Neumann M.D

Treasurer

Carola is a physician-scientist who leads a breast cancer research laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh. She is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of breast cancer. She is also a certified grief and life coach, supporting others through profound personal challenges and transformation. She was the wife of Patrick, whose legacy continues to guide her advocacy, and is a proud mother of four.
